Favourite Books of 2010

In 2010 I aimed to read 50 books. Unfortunately, I only read 43 (41 if you only count Eat, Pray, Love once). I usually get through books very quickly but while I am busy with uni I hardly read anything except for textbooks. This year I am hoping to be more consistent with my reading, and so I can get to 50 this year. Here is a list of all of the books I read last year, with my favourites in bold.
  1. Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
  2. Time Traveller's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
  3. Tomorrow, When The War Began - John Marsden
  4. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith

  6. The Lost Symbol - Dan Brown
  7. The Dead of The Night - John Marsden

  37. The Magicians Nephew - C. S. Lewis
  38. Air Kisses - Zoe Foster
  39. Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl - Belle de Jour
  40. How To Lose Friends and Alienate People - Toby Young
  41. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - J. K. Rowling
  42. Eat, Pray, Love (yet again)
  43. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe - C. S. Lewis
I also hope that this year I can read more 'serious' books. This year I read many quick, easy to read books (the Sookie Stackhouse novels, John Marsden, ect...) yet I have a bookshelf full of Penguin classics and other books which I have avoided reading which I hope to get stuck into soon. I am about to start reading the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson and I hope to finish them in a few weeks.
